Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Risk Manager to join our Investment Risk team, responsible for assessing, controlling, and governing investment risks within illiquid alternative funds and separately managed accounts. The successful candidate will have a strong background in risk management, financial markets, and valuation methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform risk and valuation analyses on illiquid assets, with a focus on infrastructure equity
  • Enhance the risk management framework and develop risk indicators to identify, assess, and monitor risk
  • Conduct periodic portfolio reviews, policy updates, and risk reporting
  • Contribute to the integration of Climate Risk and Sustainability Risk in the Risk Management Framework for illiquid Investment Strategies
  • Establish and manage relationships with stakeholders, including researchers, portfolio managers, and product specialists
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the asset management industry, preferably in a front-office or risk management role
  • Advanced degree in Economics, Finance, or Quantitative fields
  • Technical knowledge of financial markets, valuation methodologies, and risk models
  • Industry certifications are a plus (e.g., CFA, FRM, CAIA)
  • Previous experience in recruiting and managing resources
  • Relevant experience with illiquid asset underwriting and risk assessment
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure equity and real estate asset classes
  • Previous exposure to asset management business, core risk management concepts, and regulatory frameworks
  • Business acumen and strong communication skills
