Commercial Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Director to lead the commercial operations of multiple eye clinics in South-West Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic oversight, performance management, team leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Performance Indicators- Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, patient satisfaction levels, and financial indicators to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and achieve business objectives.
- Define performance objectives, offer support, conduct performance evaluations, and cultivate a positive work environment that promotes effective communication and collaboration.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Country and local medical professionals to formulate regional strategic plans in alignment with Sanoptis' overarching goals.
- Identify and capitalize on business growth opportunities within the region, including the establishment of local add-on practices.
- Develop and execute effective marketing and promotional strategies to amplify patient volume and expand market share, working in close coordination with the marketing team.
- Monitor the financial performance of clinics, encompassing revenue, expenses, and profitability. Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and cost-control measures.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with local medical practitioners, facilitating their career progression and identifying opportunities for professional success.

Requirements- Substantial relevant work experience in demanding environments such as leadership roles in clinic/MVZ management, corporate development, strategy consulting or similar positions.
- Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous but not essential.
- Demonstrated capacity to excel in a dynamic environment, with the ability to produce and communicate business and financial analyses at an executive level.
- An entrepreneurial thinker and self-starter with the ability to assume significant responsibilities and drive independent problem-solving.
- Proven track record in stakeholder management, including the ability to influence without formal authority and secure a significant role in decision-making.
- Possesses high emotional intelligence, empathy, and a knack for fostering positive relationships.
- Exhibits exceptional judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage confidentiality effectively.
- Strong organizational and process management skills.
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, meticulous attention to detail, and a fervent passion for innovative problem-solving.
- A collaborative team player with an exemplary work ethic who leads by example.
- Native German-speaking skill (or similar level) are a must in combination with a good command of English.
