Senior Fund Compliance Officer

About the Role

BDO Luxembourg is seeking a highly skilled Senior/Assistant Manager to join our Fund Compliance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of fund compliance processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and manage the day-to-day fund compliance process to ensure accurate and timely reporting;
  • Screen clients, investors, and related parties against sanction lists and PEP lists, and escalate any issues to the Compliance Director;
  • Support the Compliance Director in internal and external audits, and provide due diligence on client funds;
  • Collaborate with the Compliance team to enhance systems and processes, and review and update relevant policies and procedures;
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance or law;
  • At least 2 years of experience in fund compliance in Luxembourg;
  • Knowledge of AIFMD and CSSF Circulars related to compliance;
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Fluency in French and English.
