About the Job

The Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE is seeking a highly motivated and skilled research assistant to join our team in Freiburg, Germany. As a research assistant, you will work closely with our scientists and engineers to develop and implement new laser-based technologies for the production of solar cells and modules.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct scientific research and experiments in the field of laser material processing
  • Develop and implement new laser-based technologies for the production of solar cells and modules
  • Collaborate with our team to design and optimize laser systems for various applications
  • Contribute to the development of new materials and processes for the production of solar cells and modules
  • Present research results and findings to the team and at international conferences
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. physics, materials science, engineering)
  • Strong background in laser technology and materials science
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in German and English
