Financial Excellence at HRS Group

HRS Group, a pioneer in business travel, is seeking a skilled Accountant (all genders) to join our international accounting team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage general ledger and sub-ledger activities, ensuring accurate balance sheet account reconciliation
  • Oversee the proper processing of all accounting transactions
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with German accounting principles (HGB)
  • Ensure deadlines and priorities are understood and met

Requirements:

  • Commercial training with a focus on financial accounting or comparable training / study
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Practical knowledge of accounting in accordance with HGB
  • Experience in comprehensive accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, sub-ledger, general ledger, and accrual accounting.
  • Good understanding of national sales tax law
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (currently MS Navision, transitioning to SAP)
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • A proactive, committed, and team-oriented approach, combined with the ability to work independently and responsibly.
  • Fluent in German (minimum B2 level), with good English proficiency
