About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Marketing Manager to join our team at Statista GmbH. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive tracking systems to monitor user behavior and content interaction across our platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tracking and Data Management: Design and implement a holistic tracking system to monitor user behavior and content interaction, ensuring accurate and structured data collection.
  • DataLayer Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the DataLayer to ensure seamless data collection and analysis.
  • Consent Management: Develop and implement consent management solutions to ensure compliance with GDPR and other privacy regulations.
  • Third-Party Tools Integration: Integrate and manage third-party tools for enhanced tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in setting up comprehensive tracking systems for web and server environments, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and server-side tagging.
  • Programming Skills: Basic knowledge of JavaScript for custom tagging and tracking implementations.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of consent management solutions and ensuring compliance with GDPR and other privacy laws.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
