Expert Application Engineer and R&D Specialist for Nonwovens

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer and R&D Specialist to join our team at RKW Group. As an Application Engineer and R&D Specialist, you will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence in our nonwoven products and laminates.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new R&D projects in the area of nonwoven products and laminates
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve product quality
- Lead the standardization of nonwoven recipes and raw materials
- Execute X-Core projects and ensure customer satisfaction
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Relevant university degree in mechanical engineering, plastics technology, chemistry, process engineering, or packaging technology
- Knowledge of polymer analysis and material knowledge of polyolefins
- Experience in extrusion technology
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Self-reliant, determined, and success-oriented work style, with strong teamwork and assertiveness skills
- Flexibility and high level of commitment
- Expertise in similar areas and related technologies or other nonwoven applications
- Willingness to travel up to 60%
