R&D and Application Engineering Specialist for Nonwovens

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled R&D and Application Engineering Specialist to join our team at RKW Group. As an expert in nonwoven products and laminates, you will be responsible for driving innovation and delivering high-quality solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new R&D projects in the area of nonwoven products and laminates
- Lead the standardization of nonwoven recipes and raw materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve processes
- Provide technical expertise to customers and internal stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Relevant university degree in mechanical engineering, plastics technology, chemistry, process engineering, or packaging technology
- Strong knowledge of polymer analysis and material science
- Experience in extrusion technology and nonwoven production
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
