About the Role

  • As a Senior Agronomic Modeler, you'll develop state-of-the-art models for agricultural, environmental, and biological processes.
  • You'll embed these models into decision support systems for crop health management, including pests, diseases, and weeds, as well as enhance field-specific decision logics for farmers and advisors.
  • You'll proactively drive the global model development, validation, and calibration pipeline automation and train the modeler team.
  • You'll align with agronomy experts and developers worldwide to define development and modeling capabilities.
  • You'll define data needs for model development and validation trials and actively monitor and ensure in-season model performance.

What We're Looking For

  • A PhD or master's degree with a proven professional track record.
  • In-depth knowledge in phytopathology, R&D management, model development, statistics, and relevant analysis methods.
  • Profound experience with programming languages, including Python, and Java.
  • Basic experience with databases.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
