Job Summary
Oxygen Digital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Power Operations team. As the Head of Power Operations, you will be responsible for developing and operating large-scale battery storage systems in Germany, contributing to the expansion of renewable energy infrastructure with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team that is at the forefront of the energy transition. You will be responsible for overseeing energy data management processes, managing the nomination of schedules, and serving as the main point of contact for Transmission System Operators (TSOs) and Distribution System Operators (DSOs).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement energy data management strategies to optimize asset performance
- Manage relationships with internal and external service providers to ensure seamless operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Provide technical expertise to support the development of new energy storage systems
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and competitiveness
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, computer science, energy management)
- 2+ years of experience in energy data management, particularly in MaBiS / MaKo; experience in other market areas is a strong advantage
- Leadership experience, such as project management, is a plus
- Proficiency in automating data management processes using Python
- Fluent in both German and English
