About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineering Intern to join our team at Wayfair. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality, scalable services that support our long-term vision and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software systems and services that meet our business requirements
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers to develop and maintain our software products
  • Contribute to the technical growth and development of our team members
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that our codebase meets our high standards
  • Work with our product managers to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's Degree program
  • Effective utilization of technical skills in past internships or university projects
  • Previous experience with Java and/or Python, DB, Web Services or UI
  • Full stack and/or web development experience
  • Experience designing for cloud-based environments and event-based architectures
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Desire for continuous learning and growth
