Credit Risk Management Specialist

Sparkasse seeks a Credit Risk Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Munich.
We are a specialized financial institution dedicated to supporting businesses within key growth sectors, both domestically and internationally. Our mission is to empower entrepreneurs by providing tailored solutions and acting as trusted partners.
Your Role:
- Lead the management of complex insolvency cases for corporate clients, meticulously assessing risks and potential returns. This includes overseeing collateral realization and debt sales strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for insolvency administrators, other financial institutions, and consulting firms. In syndicated loan arrangements, you will also assume the role of facility agent.
- Independently make credit decisions by preparing comprehensive credit reports and conducting thorough analyses.
- Actively participate in pre-insolvency procedures, analyzing critical credit documents, performing impairment tests, and calculating necessary risk provisions.
- Maintain accurate records of loss data for ongoing monitoring and reporting.
Your Profile:
- Possess a degree in business administration or law with relevant specialized training.
- Demonstrate several years of experience managing credit engagements with corporate clients.
- Exhibit proficiency in utilizing relevant IT systems for efficient data management and analysis.
- Have a strong understanding of insolvency law and practical experience in collateral valuation and realization processes.
- Showcase excellent written communication skills, crafting clear and persuasive decision proposals tailored to specific situations.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation abilities, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to effectively persuade stakeholders.
- Maintain a structured, efficient, and goal-oriented approach to work, consistently delivering high-quality results.
