Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager at Infosys, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and revenue for our Life Sciences clients. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise in account management and relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation: Develop and execute strategies to generate leads through conferences, partner contacts, client organizations, news reports, analysts, and deal consultants.
  • Account Planning: Create and manage account plans, including revenue and margin targets, to drive business growth.
  • Message Development: Craft and refine messaging around Infosys services and solutions to effectively communicate value to clients.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, identifying and securing meetings to pursue new opportunities.
  • Intelligence Gathering: Conduct research and analysis on key accounts to understand client needs and develop organization charts to inform business strategies.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver value to clients and drive business growth.
  • Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate teaming agreements and prices with external partners, as well as manage Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Project Handover: Effectively hand over projects to delivery teams for execution, ensuring seamless transition and client satisfaction.
