Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate international biomass sourcing and trading prospects for Uniper's clientele and initiatives.
- Establish and implement global sourcing and trading collaborations.
- Develop and sustain a robust global network of biomass suppliers, consumers, logistics partners, and service providers.
- Offer strategic, analytical, and commercial insights to support Uniper's projects and partnerships.
- Utilize and enhance essential trading tools, reporting mechanisms, and risk management systems.
- Create and execute a comprehensive annual international biomass business development strategy aligned with Uniper's overall biomass objectives.
- Generate detailed reports on market trends, partnership opportunities, pricing forecasts, and associated risks.
- Assist teams with international biomass-related inquiries and collaborate with relevant departments and consultants.
- Engage with stakeholder teams to facilitate discussions with government entities, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
- Represent Uniper at international biomass forums and industry conferences.
Candidate Profile
- Strong commercial acumen and relationship management skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to foster and maintain productive internal and external relationships.
- Familiarity with physical and financial commodity transactions.
- Analytical and financial expertise, including experience with financial statements and risk assessment.
- Proficient in planning and organizing, with a focus on prioritization and long-term strategic vision.
- Ideal candidates will have experience in biomass or sustainable fuels and systems.
