About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Project Management Leader to join our dynamic team at Hapag-Lloyd AG. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping global procurement strategies and ensuring seamless execution of projects across various business units.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide the PMO Global Procurement team in developing and implementing strategic procurement plans that align with project objectives and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely procurement of goods and services, adhering to established budgets and timelines.
  • Serve as a key liaison between business units and the Global Procurement management team, facilitating effective communication and coordination across departments.
  • Prepare and conduct meetings with management and stakeholders, providing insightful updates on project progress and addressing any emerging challenges.
  • Maintain meticulous records of procurement activities, generating comprehensive reports and providing guidance to project teams on best practices.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in procurement within a project-driven environment.
  • In-depth understanding of procurement processes and supply chain principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, build strong relationships, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
