We're seeking dedicated, result-oriented pioneers who are driven by the ambition to perform and push boundaries. As a Senior Associate - Financial Services Audit focus Risk Management, you'll be part of a diverse, international, and innovative team. Your role will involve:

  • Conducting pre-audit planning by developing a strong understanding of business processes, goals, and strategy, and performing analyses to ensure all risks are identified.
  • Managing global client contacts and auditees, solidifying CF A as a trusted advisor and helping manage risks for Siemens.
  • Interviewing clients to extract crucial information.
  • Using analytical skills to identify root causes of findings and assist clients in developing improvement measures.
  • Participating and leading audit closing meetings with management and supporting discussions with drawn conclusions from the engagement.
  • Driving digitalization in the audit environment and preparing Siemens for future challenges.
  • Showing affinity for agile audit approaches and sharing expertise with others to find new solutions to well-known problems.

What You Need to Succeed

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 8+ years of working experience in a financial services function within Siemens, a risk management / compliance / finance organization of a regulated financial institution, or a financial services practice of a 'Big 4' / leading consulting firm.
  • Profound knowledge in at least one of the following financial services areas: underwriting and portfolio monitoring of large international project finance, corporate and acquisition finance transactions, financial services regulations / regulatory requirements, Compliance, AML, CFT.
  • Strong academic history, including a university degree in business / finance, ideally with a specialization in banking.
  • A firm understanding of the rules, laws, and regulatory requirements of the European financial markets.
  • Experience in the application of relevant Compliance-related regulations and guidelines.
  • General project management expertise in a complex global organization.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, as well as attentive listening abilities in a global setting.
  • Fluency in English, with German being a plus.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally and work remotely.
