About the Role
We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Coordinator. In this role, you'll be responsible for processing shipping orders, preparing export documents, and coordinating internal company transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Process shipping orders for Germany, the EU, and third countries
- Prepare and provide all necessary documents for shipping in collaboration with the order management team
- Manage export documentation and control
- Organize internal company transport between Renningen and Teplice/Czech Republic
- Register shipments with designated modes of transport
- Monitor timely and proper order processing, implementing corrective measures as needed
- Determine shipment type, packaging, and scope in coordination with the team and supervisor
- Obtain and evaluate transportation offers for national and international shipments
- Act as operational deputy to the head of department
Requirements
- Completed commercial training, e.g., management assistant for forwarding and logistics services
- Knowledge of third-country processes
- Experience in export control and shipping order processing
- Team player with a hands-on mentality and high degree of flexibility and reliability
- Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English
