Senior Property and Casualty Consultant

At Allianz Consulting, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Property and Casualty Consultant to join our Property and Casualty Consulting Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing customer needs and developing innovative concepts to best serve them through project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer needs and develop innovative concepts to best serve them through project deliverables
  • Execute consulting projects for customers and provide guidance in a holistic context to make them a sustainable success
  • Build and maintain customer relationships and stakeholder networks across our global organization
  • Contribute to project deliverables and pitches under the guidance of an Engagement Manager
  • Develop and follow up on ideas on possible future client needs
  • Liaise and collaborate with group centers for Property and Casualty insurance
  • Contribute to the internal development of Allianz Consulting with a focus on functional Property and Casualty insurance expertise
  • Ensure adequate development of self and colleagues via coaching, mentoring and training

Qualification, Certification and Experience:

  • University degree in Business Administration/Economics/Mathematics/Statistics or comparable qualification
  • Minimum 1-2 years work experience in the broader financial/insurance industry in an international environment
  • Overall insurance business experience
  • Product knowledge of Property and Casualty products
  • Property and Casualty knowledge either from Underwriting, Actuarial, Claims or Operations
  • Experience in creating strategies and conceptual plans to implement changes
  • Experience in project management and implementation
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English Language
  • Strong analytical and solution-focused approach
  • Willingness to take ownership
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel and PPT
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of customer orientation and team spirit

Nice to have:

  • German Language skills
  • Understand the insurance value chain, able to assess applicability of AI and derive, calculate and present business cases for AI application in a consulting environment
  • Experience in reinsurance or structuring large (multinational) insurance programs and portfolio analysis
  • Experience in an international work environment
  • Strong business capabilities
  • Data analytics capabilities
