Allianz Consulting is a leading consulting division of the Allianz Group, established in 2004. Our vision is to be the consulting partner of choice for Allianz Group core segments. Our experienced consulting teams support all Allianz operating entities worldwide in planning and implementing their local key strategic projects.

Our consulting services focus on our clients' needs, ranging from strategy, market management, sales and distribution, IT, organization, claims and operations to central functions and agile. We bring deep, industrial and functional expertise to fulfill our clients' requirements and support the overall vision of the Allianz Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer needs and develop innovative concepts to best serve them through project deliverables.
  • Execute consulting projects for customers and provide guidance in a holistic context to make them a sustainable success.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships and stakeholder networks across our global organization.
  • Contribute to project deliverables and pitches under the guidance of an Engagement Manager.
  • Develop and follow up on ideas on possible future client needs.
  • Liaise and collaborate with group centers for Property and Casualty insurance.
  • Contribute to the internal development of Allianz Consulting with a focus on functional Property and Casualty insurance expertise.
  • Ensure adequate development of self and colleagues via coaching, mentoring and training.

Qualification, Certification and Experience

  • University degree in Business Administration/Economics/Mathematics/Statistics or comparable qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in the broader financial/insurance industry in an international environment.
  • Overall insurance business experience.
  • Product knowledge of Property and Casualty products.
  • Property and Casualty knowledge either from Underwriting, Actuarial, Claims or Operations.
  • Experience in creating strategies and conceptual plans to implement changes.
  • Experience in project management and implementation.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English Language.
  • Strong analytical and solution-focused approach.
  • Willingness to take ownership.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel and PPT.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of customer orientation and team spirit.

Nice to have

  • German Language skills.
  • Understand the insurance value chain, able to assess applicability of AI and derive, calculate and present business cases for AI application in a consulting environment.
  • Experience in reinsurance or structuring large (multinational) insurance programs and portfolio analysis.
  • Experience in an international work environment.
  • Strong business capabilities.
  • Data analytics capabilities.
