Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Operations Lead to join our team at Uniper. As a key member of our IT Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation and delivery of cloud-based applications in a short-term trading deal lifecycle management environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume end-to-end responsibility for ensuring the reliable operation and delivery of cloud-based applications.
  • Own the corresponding backlog and align the overall delivery priority with relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement measures through rigorous performance monitoring and the definition and application of relevant quality metrics.
  • Ensure transparency about the status and critical aspects of IT operations through proactive and clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct root cause analyses, extract learnings, and manage critical incidents to ensure targeted preparation and communication.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in roles such as Application Management, Operations Analyst, or Operations Engineer.
  • Experience with cloud-based application operations and environments, particularly with platforms like Azure.
  • Proven track record in managing internal and external service providers and teams.
  • Broad and deep knowledge of end-to-end IT application support processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills to develop a comprehensive understanding of complex problems.
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve issues while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Strong desire to take on responsibility and drive projects to successful completion.
