Job Description

As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in proactively pursuing Off-Grid Power applications and opportunities within various industries, primarily focused on government entities. Your responsibilities will include developing sales strategies, delivering presentations, creating new sales opportunities through prospecting calls, and providing detailed sales reports using CRM tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively pursue applicable Off-Grid Power applications and opportunities within various industries.
  • Develop sales strategies and deliver presentations.
  • Create new sales opportunities through prospecting calls.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Provide detailed sales reports using CRM tools on customer projects and opportunities.
  • Drive growth to meet or exceed yearly booking targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients. You should also be results-orientated and able to work independently, with strong listening skills, demonstrated analytical and organizational skills, and a highly motivated and target-driven approach with a proven track record in sales.

Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (French/English) is a requirement.
  • Business or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Technology Certification.
  • 5 plus years of related industry experience.
  • Valid driver's license, as frequent travel is required.
  • Network within government organizations.
  • Understanding of public tendering processes.
  • Experience in the security/surveillance, telecommunication, or mining segment (Northern Quebec) is an asset.
