The Finance Manager Annax Group has a double responsibility: He oversees the financial performance including but not limited to monthly closing/forecasting, strategic planning, budgeting for Annax operating units. In addition, he is the finance business partner of the Managing Director & other stakeholders helping shine the torch in the key strategic focus areas including supporting business divestitures, mergers & acquisitions.

He/she reports directly to the Product Line CFO and functionally to the Managing Director of Annax Group. Annax consists of three sites: Annax GMBH headquartered in Germany, Switzerland and China, but supported also in several other countries by WABTEC subsidiaries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES of Annax

o Business Partner to Annax Managing Director

o Day-to-day support to review, pilot, forecast performance of Annax Group

o Support in performance improvement and decision making
- Controlling for the Annax Group OUs

o Responsible for the timely monthly closing/reporting (P&L, B/S, Cash Flow, Other KPIs)

o OUs monthly actuals reporting & forecasting

o Budgeting and Strategic Planning processes

o Active participation to monthly site reviews

o Presenting the OUs monthly Performance review to Product Line management, alongside the Managing Director

o Controlling and financial analysis at OU level

o Challenging OUs on their monthly performance

o Participating to Project Reviews of main OU projects

o Cash collection coordination for all OUs

o Financial Audits of Projects or OUs, if necessary

o Driving as required accounting, treasury, legal & SOX relates tasks:
o Key closing decisions for quarterly closings with the OUs

o Ensuring accuracy on quarterly accounts of OUs

o Coordination of accounting choices and issues, in line with Group policies

o Compliance with accounting rules and norms including SOX requirements

o Link between Group Accounting and allocated OUs on all accounting matters

o In line with initiatives by Group Finance and Internal Audit (Action Plan follow up)

o Risk management of key projects

o Tax planning and tax reports

o Banking facilities and all treasury matters, in relation with HQ

o Coordinate with external stakeholders: tax authorities, banks, auditors, local authorities

o Coordinate banking facilities and all treasury matters, in relation with HQ
- Other tasks/topics

o Relay between HQ and sites for all other finance matters, notably Tax, Treasury, Legal

o Lead and coordinate cash collection as well as working capital improvement

o Ad-hoc assignments from OU Managing Director, Group CFO or Group Management

o Liaise with Group sister companies on financial and administrative matters

o Implementation of critical projects (project accounting, variance analysis, ERP harmonization, driving automation of processes)

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE - PROFILE

o Accounting knowledge in USGAAP; experience in an audit firm would be beneficial

o Strong FP&A background, in an international Group. An experience in long-term project accounting would be a must.

o Profound ERP knowledge (SAP Business One)

o Business partner experience in finance functions, at site or Group level

o Experience of company integration within a large corporation would be a plus

o Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience.
- Position based in Germany (near Munich)
- Fluency in German & English (knowledge of French will be a plus)
