About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Solutions Architect to join our team at zeroG GmbH. As a key member of our data team, you will play a crucial role in delivering tailored solutions to our aviation industry clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted partner to our clients, providing expert guidance on data-driven solutions to address their business challenges.
  • Collaborate with a mixed team of data scientists, data engineers, and business analysts to design and implement analytical solutions.
  • Take a leading role in pre-sales activities, providing technical expertise and making effort estimations.
  • Design and implement processes and tools to support data governance and data management.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues on Solution Architecture best practices.
Requirements
  • A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, software engineering, or a related field – or equivalent business experience.
  • Professional experience in data/analytics.
  • Expertise in solution architecture for data-centric systems.
  • Hands-on experience in cloud environments like Azure, GCP, or AWS.
  • Excellent technical understanding to cater to non-functional requirements, including query performance, data quality, and security.
  • The ability to explain complex analytical solutions to a non-technical audience on management level during sales, pre-sales, and customer engagements.
Desirable Skills and Experiences
  • BI tools: e.g. Tableau, PBI.
  • CI/CD and DevOps tools: e.g. Terraform, GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps.
  • Programming Languages: e.g. Python, Java, SQL.
  • Airline Domain Expertise.
