Information Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Security Officer to join our team at Oetker Digital GmbH. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive information security program that aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategic information security program that includes risk management, incident response, and security awareness training.
- Manage and assist in the development of information security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Provide guidance and counsel to senior management and staff on information security best practices and risk management.
- Collaborate with business units to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes.
- Oversee incident response planning and investigation of security breaches.
- Manage the daily operation and execution of information security, disaster recovery, and IT risk management.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Fluent English and German language skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security, and IT roles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication abilities with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with contract and vendor negotiations and management, including managed services.
- Knowledge of various information security frameworks and compliance practices specific to the food and beverage industry.
- Experience with Cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) security.
- Professional certification in information security (CISSP, CISM, etc.) is a plus.
