Fungal Biocompounds Venture Development Associate

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Biotech Business Development Associate to join our team at Mycolever. As a key member of our venture development team, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our sustainable biosurfactant platform.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development of our go-to-market strategy through market research, expert interviews, and product launch preparations.
  • Addressing challenges related to process and operational scalability, including preparing product launches, building sales processes, and supporting marketing activities.
  • Contributing to product development activities, such as software development and biotech process scale-up.
  • Assisting in the implementation of our fundraising strategy, including defining strategies, managing investor relations, and mastering the perfect pitch.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business, management, biotechnology, or a related field.
  • First internship experience in startups, tech companies, or consulting is an advantage.
  • Business fluency in English is required, with fluency in German may be required for certain positions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a 'get-things-done' attitude, and the ability to drive results are essential.
  • Ambition to thrive in a fast-paced environment and a willingness to take initiative are highly valued.

  • Initial Interview: A 30-minute chat with one of our founders to get to know you and discuss your expectations.
  • Deep Dive Interview: A 60-minute mini-case study and interview with one of our founders to assess your skills and discuss your past projects.
  • Final Interview: A 30-minute conversation with our founding team to dive deeper into your fit with Mycolever.
