Überblick

Wir suchen einen erfahrenen Wirtschaftsanalytiker, der sich auf öffentliche Infrastruktur und Bundesfinanzen spezialisiert hat. Als Senior Economist bei der KfW werden Sie Teil unseres Teams in Frankfurt am Main und unterstützen uns bei der Analyse und Bewertung von Entwicklungen in diesen Bereichen.

Verantwortlichkeiten
  • Analyse und Bewertung von Entwicklungen in öffentlicher Infrastruktur und Bundesfinanzen
  • Beobachtung von infrastrukturpolitischen Trends in Deutschland und Europa
  • Analyse und Einordnung von finanzpolitischen Entwicklungen, insbesondere zu den Finanzbeziehungen des Bundes und der Länder
  • Bearbeitung von volkswirtschaftlichen Fragestellungen zu den Herausforderungen von Energiewende und Klimaneutralität für Bund, Länder und Kommunen in Deutschland
  • Planung und Umsetzung eigener Researchvorhaben, u.a. mit dem KfW-Kommunalpanel, Entwicklung und Pflege ökonometrischer Modelle in den o.g. Themengebieten, Vergabe von externen Studien
  • Erstellung von Publikationen sowie fachliche Betreuung der medienwirksamen Darstellung der Analysen
  • Repräsentation der KfW nach außen auf eigenen und externen Veranstaltungen sowie in der Zusammenarbeit mit Ressorts, Verbänden, Forschungsinstituten und internationalen Organisationen
  • Vertretung der Arbeitsergebnisse in hausweiten Gremien/im Gesamtkonzern
  • Beantwortung von internen und externen Anfragen, Erledigung stabstypischer Sonder- und ad-hoc-Aufgaben, insbesondere für den Vorstand und die Chefvolkswirtin.
Anforderungen
  • Überdurchschnittlich abgeschlossenes Studium der Volkswirtschaftslehre oder verwandter Disziplinen mit Schwerpunkt in den genannten Themen
  • Promotion oder gleichwertiger Nachweis wissenschaftlicher Befassung mit ebendiesen Themen
  • Umfangreiche relevante praktische Erfahrung, einschließlich eigenständiger Vertretung der Arbeitsergebnisse in hochrangig besetzten Gremien
  • Nachgewiesene Anwendungserfahrung in modernen empirischen (ökonometrischen) Methoden
  • Exzellentes allgemeines volkswirtschaftliches und wirtschaftspolitisches Wissen
  • Fachliche Flexibilität, um sich bei Bedarf schnell in neue Themen und Problemstellungen einzuarbeiten
  • Verhandlungssicheres Englisch in Wort und Schrift; Kenntnisse in einer weiteren Sprache erwünscht
  • Durch Ihre perspektivische Denkweise sowie die Fähigkeit, strategisch wichtige Entwicklungen zu erkennen, gelingt es Ihnen, daraus zeitnahe konstruktive Problemlösungen und Handlungsvorschläge abzuleiten
  • Sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, prägnante und verständliche Darstellung auch komplexer Zusammenhänge in schriftlicher und mündlicher Form
  • Sie ziehen Energie aus der Interaktion mit anderen Menschen und können sie von Ihren Vorschlägen überzeugen. Auseinandersetzungen bewältigen Sie konstruktiv und als echter Teamplayer nutzen Sie Ihre Kooperationsstärke, um gemeinsame Ziele zu erreichen.
