Job Title: Commissioning Manager

As a Commissioning Manager at Uniper, you will play a crucial role in the project management team, overseeing the safe and timely commissioning of new systems.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the overarching commissioning plan and schedule in collaboration with the project team and suppliers.
  • Define, establish, and manage the commissioning organization, including specialist commissioning managers and resource planning.
  • Coordinate closely with the project management team and external project partners to ensure seamless integration.
  • Establish the interface with the operational organization and integrate it into the commissioning process.
  • Monitor and document all commissioning activities, including trial operation and final handover of the system to the customer.
  • Prepare and submit reports and notifications within the scope of official or authorization obligations.
Your Profile:
  • Completed university degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable technical specialization.
  • Significant professional experience in comparable positions, ideally in energy plant construction.
  • Ability to grasp complex technical interrelationships and translate them into clear work instructions.
  • Strong communication, assertiveness, and conflict resolution skills in a multidisciplinary and intercultural team.
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
