Commissioning Manager

**About the Role**
As a Commissioning Manager at Uniper, you will play a critical part in the project management team within our infrastructure projects. We are a leading international energy company, proactively shaping the world of energy while ensuring security of energy supply.
**Your Responsibilities**
- Ensure the safe and timely commissioning of new systems, collaborating closely with the project team and suppliers.
- Create and monitor the overarching commissioning plan and schedule, working in tandem with the project team and suppliers.
- Define, establish, and manage the commissioning organization, including specialist commissioning managers, deployment, and resource planning.
- Collaborate closely with the project management team and external project partners to ensure seamless coordination.
- Establish the interface with the operational organization and integrate it into the commissioning process, coordinating all necessary work.
- Coordinate, monitor, and document all commissioning activities, including trial operation and final handover of the system to the customer.
- Revise and hand over the complete technical documentation to operations, as well as prepare reports and notifications within the scope of official or authorization obligations.
- Contribute to the preparation of the final project report and ensure the feedback of experience to the engineering department.
**Your Profile**
- Hold a completed university degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable technical specialization.
- Bring many years of relevant professional experience in comparable positions, ideally in energy plant construction.
- Demonstrate the ability to grasp complex technical interrelationships and translate them into clear work instructions.
- Show sensitivity to safe working practices and potential hazards in commissioning processes.
- Exhibit strong communication, assertiveness, and conflict resolution skills in a multidisciplinary and intercultural team.
- Be willing to travel nationally and internationally.
- Be business fluent in German and English, written and spoken.
