Job DescriptionAs a Senior Barista Team Lead, you'll be responsible for mentoring junior baristas, preparing and serving a wide range of beverages, and leading by example in providing exceptional customer service.
You'll also oversee shift operations, ensure inventory management, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor junior baristas and provide guidance on coffee preparation techniques, customer service best practices, and product knowledge.
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, classics and special drinks.
- Lead by example: Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and ensuring all requests are handled with professionalism.
- Shift leading: Ensure each team member has their place and tasks for the shift and ensure efficient workflow.
- Be a brand ambassador upholding the LAP brand to the highest standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including the espresso machine, grinder, brewing equipment, and service counter.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and communicate any replenishment needs to management in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures, to ensure the safety of customers and staff.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner, striving to resolve any issues to the customer's satisfaction.
- Solve any issues that might arise in the store, with the support of management if needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
