We are looking for a skilled IT Security Specialist to join our team at GULP – experts united. Our business partner currently has an exciting vacancy for a Cybersecurity Expert in Berlin, Dresden, and Leipzig.

Key Responsibilities
- Planning and implementing IT security strategies and IT security guidelines as well as supporting the Information Security Officer
- Responsible for the rollout of ISMS guidelines, the determination of IT protection requirements, and the implementation or adaptation of the emergency concept
- Support for the automated detection and response system and vulnerability management
- Support for penetration tests and security-related projects
- Initiation and monitoring of IT security measures
- Identifying, investigating, and forensically documenting security incidents and advising specialist departments on IT security issues
Requirements
- Completed university degree in computer science, alternatively a comparable qualification or extensive professional experience
- Sound knowledge in the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of firewalls, VPNs, or IDS/IPS systems
- Expert knowledge of how to identify vulnerabilities in systems and networks through audits, penetration tests, or risk analyses, for example
- Initial experience in the creation and enforcement of IT security guidelines and emergency plans in accordance with compliance requirements such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and BSI basic protection desirable
- Very good written and spoken German skills
- Communication and teamwork skills
