Job Description

We are seeking an IT Security Manager to join our Ordnungsamt, Abteilung Verwaltung team. As an IT Security Manager, you will be responsible for leading IT security projects, providing expert advice, and ensuring the implementation of technical security measures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead IT security projects to implement technical security measures, focusing on the Ordnungsamt and Branddirektion.
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to the Ordnungsamt and Branddirektion teams on IT security best practices, risk assessment, and security standards.
  • Develop and maintain information security management systems, collaborating with the Information Security Officer, IT Coordination, and central IT security staff.
  • Manage IT vulnerabilities, focusing on the Ordnungsamt and Branddirektion.
  • Support incident response and vulnerability management, ensuring timely and effective resolution of security incidents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in IT security, preferably in a similar role.
  • Experience in project management and team leadership.
  • Familiarity with municipal or public administration, including knowledge of administrative processes.
  • Knowledge of BSI security standards, data protection laws, and regulations, including the DSGVO.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
