About the Job

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist to join our team. As an IT Security Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and implementing IT security strategies and guidelines, as well as supporting the Information Security Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IT security strategies and guidelines to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our clients' data.
  • Support the Information Security Officer in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR and ISO 27001.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with our development team to ensure that our software applications are secure and meet the highest standards of security.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our clients to ensure that their security needs are met and that they are aware of the latest security threats and best practices.

Requirements

  • Completed university degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT security, including experience with firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
  • Expert knowledge of security frameworks and regulations, including GDPR and ISO 27001.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Very good written and spoken German skills.
