About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team at Tönnies. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining existing customer relationships, as well as actively acquiring new customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and expansion
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted sales and marketing efforts
  • Negotiate prices and contractual terms with customers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
  • Develop and manage the sales process to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective order entry and order handling
  • Monitor and update customer master data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Review and draw up contracts to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction
  • Implement promotional measures to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Visit customers and attend trade fairs to build relationships and stay up-to-date on industry trends

Requirements
  • A successfully completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
  • Professional experience in the B2B sale of meat, ideally in a similar industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office and excellent communication skills
  • An excellent level of English, with Spanish, Portuguese, and French language skills a plus
  • Strong focus on customer service and a reliability with a flair for organisation
  • An independent and motivated working style with a high degree of initiative
