Position Overview:

Consider the digital interactions you engage in daily—from the advertisements you encounter to the applications you utilize and the online shopping experiences you navigate. Each of these moments is likely influenced by a product from Marketo. We are seeking a Principal Technical Architect to join our Experience Cloud division, focusing on delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients and collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective design and implementation of Marketo solutions.

Our Consulting team consists of skilled professionals who work closely with clients to develop, execute, and oversee digital marketing strategies, maximizing the value derived from their investment in Marketo.

This team is made up of individuals who are not only technically proficient but also understand the significance of digital marketing in shaping business strategies. You will partner with clients to strategize and enhance business value through our platform, guiding them in their journey towards maturity and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Lead Architect for Marketo Consulting, providing guidance on solution strategy, architecture, and technical implementation for client engagements.
  • Collaborate with client teams to define use cases, objectives, and architecture that align with business requirements.
  • Design system and application architectures that fulfill specified digital experience and business objectives.
  • Engage with senior client leadership to present and advocate for strategic recommendations.
  • Work within a technically adept team to offer expertise in the design and planning of Marketo solutions.
  • Analyze complex project challenges, develop optimal solutions, and communicate recommendations to clients and partners.
  • Ensure alignment between business strategies, technology roadmaps, and deployment teams.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of Marketo's practices and share insights for product improvement.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
  • Be open to occasional business travel as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with Java/JEE, Sling Servlets, OSGi, JCR Queries, and core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Felix.
  • Proficiency in core web technologies including XML, HTML5, HTL, and client/server-side scripting languages like JavaScript and jQuery.
  • In-depth knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, GraphQL, unit testing, GIT, agile methodologies, and software design patterns.
  • Experience with Dispatcher Configuration, Clustering, CRX repository, Workflows, Replication, and Performance management.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Maven and Jenkins.
  • Good understanding of modern frontend frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in web technologies.

  • Ability to lead discussions with peers and senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
  • Expertise in risk management and proactive handling of challenging situations.
  • Act as a supportive team member and mentor to others.
  • Self-motivated professional capable of managing multiple engagements effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate with specialists to ensure project success.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
