Senior Engineer in Product Security and Compliance
As a Senior Engineer in Product Security and Compliance, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the integrity and confidentiality of our products. Your collaboration with diverse teams will ensure that every medical device we introduce is fortified against security threats while enhancing the overall security framework of our product offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill medical device security standards throughout the product development lifecycle, encompassing risk evaluation, security assessments, and the creation of security documentation.
- Perform security risk evaluations for medical devices, engage in threat modeling, and design security controls, while aiding in compliance submissions.
- Leverage automation tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance teams with compliance submissions to various global regulatory entities.
- Work alongside development teams to analyze architectural designs and requirements for adherence to regulatory standards.
- Oversee and report on product security vulnerability management.
Your Qualifications and Expertise:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience in the medical device sector.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in technical roles, including application security, risk management, and cloud security.
- Familiarity with medical device cybersecurity standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and adept problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven project management and decision-making experience.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and submissions.
- Able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Preferred Certifications: CMRP, HCISPP, CISM, CISA, CISSP, among others related to cybersecurity.
