About the Role

This full-time position is based in Frankfurt, reporting directly to the Germany GM. The successful candidate will oversee all operational aspects of our site in Dusseldorf, managing building systems, maintenance, facilities, health & safety, and security. The role requires travel to Dusseldorf and occasionally to Hamburg.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee building systems maintenance and cleaning of Mindspace site in Dusseldorf
  • Drive processes and standards to ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations
  • Manage and track preventive and corrective maintenance programs
  • Negotiate terms with facilities services providers and contractors
  • Drive the strategy for effective planning and scheduling of critical maintenance
  • Continuously evaluate facilities process inefficiencies and recommend improvement measures
  • Oversee construction projects and new openings in Germany
  • Conduct periodic quality checks to ensure operations policies and procedures are practiced and current
  • Be the first point of contact for large facility maintenance emergencies
  • Handle building security, access control, CCTV, security companies, etc.
  • Support, coordinate, and interact seamlessly with different teams
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in Operations
  • Background in Facility Management
  • Hospitality background - Strong advantage
  • Knowledge of security systems, IT, and AV equipment
  • A problem solver with exceptional project management skills and multitasking abilities
  • Proactive, independent, and a team player
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in German and English
