Key Responsibilities

As a Cloud Solutions Architect at beON consult, you will guide our clients through their digital transformation journey, providing expert advice on the effective utilization of cloud technologies. Your role will involve designing and planning cloud infrastructures that align with the strategic objectives and requirements of our clients.

  • You will architect scalable and high-performance cloud solutions utilizing various deployment models.
  • Your expertise will be crucial in selecting the most suitable cloud services, technologies, and providers for each client.
  • You will assist in the implementation and configuration processes, as well as the migration of existing applications, ensuring they adhere to the designed architectural patterns.
  • Security will be a priority as you implement policies, access controls, and encryption measures to safeguard the cloud infrastructure.
  • You will promote automation to facilitate easier provisioning, scaling, and maintenance of resources.
  • Documentation will be essential, as you will create comprehensive architecture documentation to provide clarity on the cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaboration across projects with developers, operations teams, and security personnel will be vital to ensure the cloud infrastructure meets the diverse needs of all stakeholders.
  • Continuous evaluation of the latest cloud technologies and best practices will be part of your role to ensure the infrastructure remains current and adaptable to evolving business requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proven professional experience in cloud architecture.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud computing concepts (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and various deployment models (public, private, hybrid).
  • In-depth familiarity with leading cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Ability to design complex system architectures and effectively communicate architectural decisions to various stakeholders.
  • Experience in advising clients on cloud service models, migration strategies, and support frameworks.
  • Proficient in designing and establishing network infrastructures, including data flow, subnets, VLANs, firewalls, and routing.
  • Capability to assess the computing power of processors and GPUs, allocating resources based on workload demands.
  • Experience in designing or providing storage infrastructures, databases, and data management solutions (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle Database).
  • Understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP.
  • Practical knowledge of security principles related to malware protection, threat analysis technologies, and data encryption standards.
  • Experience with server virtualization using various hypervisors (e.g., VMware ESXI, Hyper-V, XenServer).
  • Familiarity with managing large data center infrastructures and knowledge of network components.
  • Proficiency in development, particularly with current programming languages and cloud frameworks (e.g., Python, Ruby on Rails, Apache Hadoop).
  • Strong communication skills to produce clear and understandable documentation for diverse audiences within the organization.
  • Knowledge in DevOps, DevSecOps, SysOps, CI/CD, and code repository technologies.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Understanding of InfoSec controls, including web application firewalls, multi-factor authentication, and identity access management.
