Your role will involve designing and strategizing cloud infrastructures that align with our clients' strategic objectives and needs.
- You will architect scalable and high-performing cloud solutions across various deployment models.
- Your expertise will be utilized to select the most suitable cloud services, technologies, and providers for our clients.
- You will assist in the implementation and configuration processes, as well as the migration of existing applications, ensuring they adhere to the designed architectural frameworks.
- Your role will include enforcing security measures, access controls, and encryption protocols to safeguard the cloud infrastructure.
- You will promote automation practices to facilitate seamless provisioning, scaling, and maintenance of resources.
- Documentation of architectural designs will be a key responsibility, providing clarity on the cloud infrastructure.
- Collaboration across projects with development, operations, and security teams will be essential to ensure the cloud infrastructure meets the diverse needs of stakeholders.
- You will continuously assess emerging cloud technologies and best practices to keep the infrastructure current and responsive to evolving business demands.
Qualifications
- Proven professional experience in cloud architecture.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud computing concepts (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and various deployment models (public, private, hybrid).
- In-depth familiarity with leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Ability to design intricate system architectures and effectively communicate architectural decisions to various stakeholders.
- Experience in advising clients on cloud service models, migration strategies, and support frameworks.
- Background in designing and establishing network infrastructures, including data flow, subnets, VLANs, firewalls, and routing.
- Capability to assess processor and GPU performance and allocate resources based on workload requirements.
- Experience in storage infrastructure design, database management, and data handling (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle).
- Understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP.
- Practical knowledge of security principles related to malware protection and data encryption standards.
- Experience with server virtualization using various hypervisors (e.g., VMware ESXI, Hyper-V, XenServer).
- Familiarity with managing large data center infrastructures and network components.
- Knowledge of programming languages and cloud frameworks (e.g., Python, Ruby on Rails, Apache Hadoop).
- Strong communication skills to produce clear documentation for diverse audiences.
- Understanding of DevOps, DevSecOps, SysOps, CI/CD, and code repository technologies.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of InfoSec controls such as web application firewalls, MFA, and IAM.
