Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Design Intern to join our Engineering & Technology team. As a Process Design Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on overall process engineering development and optimization of processes for chemical or biotechnological active ingredient production as well as for formulation and packaging operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct data preparation and analysis to support process design and optimization
  • Support the creation of mass and energy balances, as well as model creation and evaluation
  • Participate in the development of software tools, such as device models, occupancy planning, analysis, and visualization methods
  • Assist with process and product flow simulation
  • Evaluate process alternatives and optimize processes
  • Gain experience with Quality by Design methods in a GMP-regulated environment

Requirements

  • Currently studying pharmaceutical engineering, life science engineering, biological or chemical engineering, process engineering, or a comparable field of study
  • In-depth specialist knowledge in the respective field of study
  • Previous knowledge of process simulation or programming is an advantage
  • Belief in lifelong learning and the value of lessons learned from failure
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and demonstrate commitment and motivation
  • High willingness to learn and quick comprehension
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
