About Natur- und Tierpark Brüggen
We are a privately-owned wildlife park featuring a diverse range of species from across the globe. Our facility houses around 250 animals, including foxes, alpacas, camels, monkeys, owls, kangaroos, and many others. Guests are invited to engage with the animals and explore our distinct environment. Our guiding principle is to "feed, pet, marvel, play, and enjoy the forest."
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Zoo Animal Caretaker to become a vital part of our dedicated staff in a full-time capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out all necessary animal care duties within the park
- Assisting with the upkeep, planning, and construction of animal habitats
- Monitoring animal populations and performing health assessments
- Providing information and support to park visitors
- Facilitating engaging activities for the animals
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate...
- Must have completed training as an animal caretaker or in a similar role
- Should be able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Must be adaptable and willing to work on weekends and holidays
- Preferably holds a valid driver's license
