About Natur- und Tierpark Brüggen
We are a privately owned facility showcasing a diverse array of wildlife from across the globe. Our park is home to around 250 species, including foxes, alpacas, camels, monkeys, owls, kangaroos, and many others. Visitors have the opportunity to engage with the animals and discover our distinctive environment. Our guiding principle is to "feed, pet, marvel, play, and enjoy the forest."
Position Overview:
We are in search of a Zoo Animal Caretaker to become part of our committed team in a full-time capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out all necessary animal care duties within the park
- Assisting with the upkeep, planning, and construction of animal habitats
- Recording animal populations and performing health assessments
- Providing guidance and support to park visitors
- Facilitating various activities for the animals
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will...
- Have completed training as an animal caretaker or zoo animal caretaker
- Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Exhibit flexibility and a willingness to work on weekends and holidays
- Preferably possess a valid driver's license
