Electrical Engineering Specialist

We are looking for an Electrical Technician to join our team, focusing on the essential tasks within both onshore and offshore substation facilities that are critical for integrating offshore wind turbines into the national power grid. In this position, you will be tasked with planning and executing maintenance activities while adhering to regulatory testing schedules.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily operations of the facilities, conduct switching operations, and manage the entire system including maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate the construction of both onshore and offshore facilities, supervise construction efforts, perform complex functional tests, and engage in commissioning processes.
- Manage technical and commercial order processing related to maintenance activities.
- Configure protective and control systems effectively.
- Deliver technical training and safety protocols to team members.
- Independently identify and anticipate necessary actions, approaching tasks with strong self-organization skills.
- Maintain clear communication and assertiveness to ensure effective coordination with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Prioritize safety and environmentally responsible practices in all operations.
- Completed training as a master craftsman or technician in electrical engineering or energy technology.
- Alternatively, a background in the mentioned fields with a commitment to pursue master craftsman or technician training.
- Proven experience in electrical engineering.
- Meet health requirements for offshore work.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Fluent in German (minimum C1) and proficient in English (minimum B2).
- Experience in the offshore energy sector.
- Familiarity with high-voltage grid systems.
- Proficient in SAP, database applications, and MS Office Suite.
- Full-time position with a 37-hour work week.
