Retail Capability Programs Manager

Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing the design, delivery, and implementation of trainer-led capability programs for retail. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of adult learning principles and experience in learning program design and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement trainer-led learning programs in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Project manage the creation and realization of Retail Capability programs and initiatives for specific audiences.
  • Implement and continuously review a sustainable framework to measure the success of the trainer-led Retail Capability programs.
  • Act as the lead point of contact within global retail on all topics related to trainer-led capability programs.
  • Drive the development of new concepts and ideas to support the ongoing capability development of retail audiences.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years in a retail store leadership role with experience in leading store teams and managing store performance.
  • 5+ years retail training experience, preferably in the apparel / retail industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in learning program delivery and implementation.
  • 3+ years of experience in learning program design.
  • Accreditation / certification as Learning & Development professional preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional experience with coaching and mentoring within a matrix organization.
  • Professional experience in a multi-national business environment.
  • Experience in virtual classroom training delivery.
  • Exposure to retail industry in Asia Pacific, EMEA or North America.
