INTERNSHIP ROLE

As a Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI Intern at Procter & Gamble's Innovation Center, you will engage in the development and refinement of data models and algorithms. Your work will leverage machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques alongside R&D data to deliver significant contributions and impactful outcomes.

  • Engage in innovative algorithm development for semantic segmentation of 3D structures, enhancing and fine-tuning existing algorithms. You will have access to advanced GPU systems and receive guidance from experienced team members.
  • Participate in projects with substantial business implications utilizing Generative AI technologies, such as stable diffusion and GAN, to facilitate end-to-end digitization and characterization capabilities.
  • Collaborate with fellow interns and academic contacts to expand your knowledge and expertise in the field.
  • Apply AI and modeling technologies to advance material science research and optimize the development of consumer goods, driving innovation and enhancing product performance.

Qualifications

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • You are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, having completed at least two semesters of study with strong academic performance, ideally in fields such as Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Vision, or AI/ML.
  • You are available for an internship lasting between 3 to 6 months.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • You possess coding experience in Python, SQL, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and familiarity with data analytics and segmentation algorithms.
  • Knowledge of mathematical modeling and experience in material or porous media characterization is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with tools like KNIME and PowerBI is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and Databricks is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in version control systems, such as GitHub, is preferred.
  • You demonstrate leadership qualities by proactively addressing and resolving challenges.
