Overview

We are seeking a qualified individual for the role of System Engineer Secondary Radar / IFF (m/f/d), focusing primarily on the development of transponder products. This role is situated within the IFF Product Engineering division, which is dedicated to the advancement of IFF technologies. Our teams are engaged in the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to market introduction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and analyze requirements and system architectures down to the module level.
  • Provide support for specialized development efforts, including software and hardware.
  • Collaborate with various departments to construct prototypes.
  • Formulate integration and testing strategies, including test definitions and reporting.
  • Execute integration, acceptance, qualification, and field tests, ensuring verification of performance metrics at both system and subsystem levels.
  • Offer technical support to project management during the proposal phase.
  • Act as a technical liaison for clients.
  • Oversee technical management of subcontractors.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in engineering (electrical engineering, communications technology, or a related field).
  • Extensive professional experience in IFF and system engineering.
  • Strong intercultural competencies.
  • Innovative, self-driven, and motivated approach.
  • Structured, meticulous, and analytical work habits.
  • High level of initiative and dedication.
  • Proficient in both German and English.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance as required.
