Overview

We are seeking a qualified individual for the position of System Engineer Secondary Radar / IFF (m/f/d), focusing primarily on the development of Transponder products. The IFF Product Engineering division is dedicated to the innovation and development of IFF products, guiding them from initial concepts through to market introduction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and analyze requirements and system architectures down to the module level.
  • Collaborate with specialized teams in software and hardware development.
  • Construct prototypes in partnership with relevant departments.
  • Formulate integration and testing strategies, including definitions, procedures, and reports.
  • Execute integration, acceptance, qualification, and field tests, verifying performance metrics at both system and subsystem levels.
  • Provide technical support to project management during the proposal phase.
  • Serve as a technical liaison for clients.
  • Oversee technical management of subcontractors.

Candidate Profile

  • A degree in engineering (electrical engineering, communications technology, or a related field).
  • Extensive professional experience in IFF and System Engineering.
  • Strong intercultural competencies.
  • A proactive and innovative mindset.
  • Methodical, detail-oriented, and analytical work habits.
  • High levels of initiative and dedication.
  • Proficiency in both German and English at a negotiation level.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance if required.
