Overview
The 'Naval and Ground Radar Engineering' division is seeking a 'Technical Manager for the international consortium focused on Counter Battery Radar COBRA (f/m/d)' located in Munich.This division specializes in the development of radar technologies and sensor system solutions, with a product range that includes advanced naval and ground systems such as TRS-4D, TRML-4D, COBRA, NNbS, and EUA-NT.
We also play a pivotal role in project management, proposal preparation, and client interactions. EURO ART INTERNATIONAL (EA-I) is a collaborative effort between two industrial partners, managing projects for a diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as Technical Manager within EA-I, based in Munich Foster collaboration within EA-I and with associated (inter)national clients and partners Oversee the technical management of product development Lead customer-specific developments, product enhancements, and next-generation Counter Battery Radar initiatives Organize reviews and coordinate integration and validation efforts among EA-I consortium partners Assist in project planning and manage multidisciplinary development teams Facilitate decision-making processes considering overall system aspects, safety, and technical efficacy Guide the formulation of technical system requirements based on client specifications Evaluate system architectures and interface documentation, and conduct system analyses Aid in identifying and addressing obsolescence and managing technical configurationsQualifications
Degree in engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field Extensive experience in developing complex systems and managing development projects Proven track record in client relations, consortium collaboration, and modern development methodologies Experience in leading an international technical team Strong understanding of systems engineering processes and methodologies Familiarity with requirements management tools, particularly DOORS Excellent teamwork skills, assertiveness, resilience, and a professional demeanor Proficient in German and EnglishBenefits
