Logistics Deputy Warehouse Manager

Job Title: Logistics Deputy Warehouse Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Deputy Warehouse Manager to join our team at Upfield. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our internal warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee a smooth operation with the factory, including timely preparation and loading of export and domestic business
  • Undertake warehouse and operations capacity planning, both short and midterm
  • Monitor technical equipment and lead on safety
  • Solve and monitor any service issues and inform relevant Upfield teams when necessary
  • Support factories and primary transport on any transport or warehouse issues, special shipments
  • Support Customer Service for any transport or stock issues, special shipment, late notice requests related to customers
  • Monitor the aging of stocks in the warehouse and help the business to sell out stocks before they expire
  • Carry out audits and corrective actions identified/ mitigation tasks
  • Lead a team of approximately 45 FTEs with close collaboration and support of the WH manager

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years minimum experience in logistics, preferably in FMCG or other relevant industry (Retail or 3PL environment), with focus on warehousing
  • Team/people management
  • German and English language required (fluently)
