Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a seasoned Financial Operations Manager to bolster our operations in Germany. This pivotal position within the country leadership team is responsible for steering the execution of the country scorecard and taking comprehensive charge of financial management.

Your primary duties will include collaborating with the leadership team to enhance overall business performance, particularly within the commercial sector, as well as managing costs related to logistics, storage, waste management, DME, and OPEX.

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with commercial teams to secure optimal financial results through well-negotiated agreements. You will challenge customer proposals and oversee trade and pricing arrangements.
  • Manage one direct report while contributing to the leadership within the broader finance organization, providing strategic insights.
  • Ensure rigorous financial controls are in place for accurate reporting, while continuously enhancing the efficiency of financial processes.
  • Act as the Finance Business Partner to the Head of Country, cultivating essential relationships with the Commercial, Marketing, RGM, Customer Operations, and Group Finance teams.
  • Take full ownership of P&L reporting, delivering insightful performance analyses and guiding the country through the comprehensive business planning cycle.

Profile Requirements

  • Proven experience in team leadership, with strong coaching and mentoring capabilities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, cost management, and business collaboration.
  • Ability to foster and maintain cross-functional relationships, with the capacity to influence senior stakeholders as part of a senior management team.
  • Extensive background in a Commercial Finance setting.
  • Exceptional communication skills, fluent in both spoken and written English and German.
  • Confidence in addressing challenges from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Persistence in securing engagement with stakeholders and ensuring your insights and recommendations are acknowledged.
