The Automotive Aftermarket division oversees Schaeffler's worldwide spare parts operations. Work Model

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Define the vision, attributes, and requirements for assigned products, guiding development from a functional standpoint. Ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations while focusing on value creation and commercial success.
  • Develop both functional and non-functional product requirements to enhance product value.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it remains current and transparent for the team.
  • Collaborate with the development team to establish iteration targets, facilitating the creation of deployable product increments and approving iteration outcomes.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and the team to formulate a mid-term product release strategy.
  • Work with other Product Owners and procurement on component sourcing.

Your Qualifications

  • Completed international studies in business administration, information technology, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive international professional experience, ideally within IT or management consulting, technology firms, or data science agencies.
  • Proven experience in software development or executing digitization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies, preferably as a certified product owner.
  • Experience in documenting requirements, identifying dependencies, and defining Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).
  • Background in software development projects involving both proprietary and open-source software.
  • Proficient in agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence, along with MS Office applications.
  • Technical expertise in analytics, data science solutions, internet technologies, and web applications.
  • Software development skills (e.g., object-oriented programming) and agile development certification are advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills combined with a high capacity for abstraction.
